Yes it will fit in your 06 I have it in my 05
Good luck finding one. I have seen 2 on ebay since owning mine and I got mine 3-4 years ago
Console found in FX4 XLT and EDGE with the 290 watt pioneer sound system
"Vents" on each side
Plastic thing in the console is where the sub mounts facing down
Just have to remove the air bag switch connector then re route wire to the console plug in
