If you want to pull the full power out of an amp, the subs need to match. Dont expect 500w out of a 500w 2ohm amp if you have a 4ohm load on the sub end. |
i completely understand that but im just saying that with an adequate electrical system it is possible to run a amp lower than its rated. Not all amps obviously but some are strong enough. Granted 95% of the time box rise will put you above your nominal impedence anyways.
