I was told to do this mod for my B2300 2.3 that just tops out at 65/70 on the flats and drops to 55 in 4th on hills. I thought naaaaaaaaaaa my truck wont have a stretched cable. So after reading this thread, at 12 midnight, I took a flashlight out to my truck, and sure as shit, I lifted the gas pedal and have about 2-3" of slack!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow AM I am zip tying the bitch, I cant hardly wait to see how she drives now!!!!!!!! Thank you for posting this tidbit!
