Looks like i win, lol.
Started misfiring last spring. got parked and sat all summer while i biked to work cause i didnt have the cash. Saved up, and starting to work on it again. Rebuilt trans, and overhauled the rear brakes. Having the same trans guy put a rear main seal in, this week, along with diagnosing and fixing the misfire (which i hope is just fuel injection).
The original trans and motor took the car to about 285000 miles. I'm impressed!
