If you are intrested in a good diesel conversion still I would recommend a cummins 4bt which is a inline 4cyl turbo diesel it is the same engine in the dodge ram except with two less cylnders it will fit rather easily and have a ton more power than either motor you have now these motors are fairly easy to find because they are used in fed ex and ups trucks as well as other simular delivery vehicled and alot of smaller construction and farm equiptment have this motor however the same cost and difficulty will be like the other diesel but it will have alot more power and torque than it.
