Default Re: Is "High Mileage Oil" Worth It?

with the exception of my 01 ranger and my 05 F-150 all my trucks have been "high mileage" and ive never used anything but regular full synthetic oil in what ever weight the manufacturer suggested and have never had an issue. Hell my 93 4.0 winter beater had 245,000 miles on it when i sold it and it had run regular full synthetic mobile 1 most of its life. IMO its a gimmick to get you to buy their oil. Also I LOL at 75K being high mileage, high mileage to me is over 150K.
