Probably buys it directly from the farmer/butcher. I save a lot more then 10% by doing the same thing. That, and I hunt too, so that always helps
The price of food has been going up ever since this recession has started. Not by large amounts, but I think it's funny that people are just now noticing. I would tell you who to blame, but this is not that type of thread
