Default info on installing a limited slip differential

Howdy

I've got a 2001 4cyl in pretty good condition (bought used). I'm a pretty good wrench and do a lot of my own work. I would really like to get a limited slip installed, but have never worked on a differential or rear axels before.

Found this site and a limited slip for $240
http://www.andysautosport.com/ford/2...als/powertrax/

But whats involved - just a swap ? Do the axels need to be pulled ? Do the same stock axels work with a unit like this ?

Any help and comments appreciated !!!
