Ok so I'm a field engineer for a small company out of Atlanta that specializes in support for various check processing machines, big ones like 1000-2000 checks per minute. Been in the field since getting out of tech school in 81. Needless to say the industry is in a landing patern , the same one you would see if you dropped a rock out of a window,
Times are tough.

Tuesday night I check my e-mail and find a message from the head-shed stating that "times are tough and something gotta give" You guessed it, a pay cut. An average of 10% the message says.

I check my pay deposit Wed morning and see I'm short close to 20%.
The other 2 guys that work in NorCal ,same deal.
No explanation ,no sorry guys just if you dont like it there's the door.
What a classy operation I work for!
