I'm in the process of builing a box for my shallow mount 12". I've had a few subs before, but I never went through the effort of putting carpet on a box. I think I'm going to have this sub for a while, so I want to do it right and have it look good.

Anyone know how to do this?, and also, does a good carpet job improve sound quality? one of my friends told me it did, but I'm a bit skeptical on that.
