What ColinS said. Don't ride so close to the vehicle in front of you so yo have more time to stop at a slower rate.

There is nothing wrong with the system. It is functioning properly. If you are activating the ABS frequently, you are stopping too fast and not giveing yourself the proper spacing that you should. The general rule is a minimum of two seconds spacing but three to four is better.
