Basicly it's a perfectly good truck that got fucked up by some idiot that didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground, really. I use to tune on the side years ago before my health turned on me and I've seen some really shitty work. Stuff like piping from Lowe's Home Improvment stores under the hood being called a CAI system. frayed wiring that looks like my hair when I roll out of the bed in the mornings. Slammed out vehicles that scrape everything in site that wasn't done right. Paint jobs that were not completed. And the list goes on and on really. This shit really took off right after the Fast & Furious saga began and the first movie came out in theatres. Out of 100 ricers, you might get lucky and find 2 or 3 that let the pros do it for them or actually have a clue about what they're doing. That's the definition of a ricer basically. PLEASE DON'T LET THEM WORK ON ANY OF YOUR VEHICLES IF YOU VALUE THEM.
