I have an 02 4cly 2.3 with 71k miles on it. Long story short it overheats under a load. I have a Polaris ranger (1300lbs) that i pull on a 6x10 trailer (maybe 500lbs). Does fine while pulling on a level road but when i climb the mountain the temp hand rises. The only way i can keep it from overheating all the way is to back down to second and climb it at 25 mph. It sucks cause i have to climb the mountain to get to where i hunt. I had the fan clutch replaced because it seemed worn out. Still the same. One day last week the temp gauge rose a little just climbing the mountain with no trailer. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
