Thanks Michael! I was actually having a discussion the other day regarding the use of gallons when purchasing fuel and calculating efficiencies. It was concluded that we should be using BTUs or kJ instead of gallons to make it easier to determine what is really the lowest cost fuel. This would be similar to the price per unit stickers in grocery stores.
