Well I went to investigate and I saw something that I hadn't noticed before. When the damper goes all the way up to reveal the screen with fan behind it, I can see some pine straw in there. Could this be the problem? How is the best way to get this out? Just a pair of tongs, or do I need to remove some parts first?
