Exclamation Coolant overflow

Here's the deal. My truck keeps cracking these pos things and i want to know if anyone has or knows anyone that has an aftermarket or custom built overflow tank in their truck and i would like to see pictures of them because i want to build myself a nice one so i quit having to go searching for them. Thank you all that reply!

Just go outside, open your hood, take measurements of your currently tank, note the hoses and locations, and where it bolts to the truck. Buy some metal, and get building. Or save a bunch of time and money and just spend 20minutes and $50bucks replacing the broken one with a new one.

i have replaced it 3 times with oem and i'm tired of dumping money into the reservoir every time it cracks I want to see others coolant systems so I can get an idea for a tank build there is plenty of room in the bay for one

it must just build too much pressure for the tank and cap to handle. I've seen this happen a lot and the only fix seems to be aluminum reservoirs

yes, three times and I even left the cap loose to relieve the pressure the last time I replaced the oem container and it still cracked so there isn't any explanation for it cracking except the oem is a pos lol
