i have a 87 ranger just put my 2.3 back in after replacing the head gasket, hooked everything back up. checked the timing, wires, fuel, air, and spark, sprayed starting fluid in the intake, still wont start. anyone know what it could be?

did you ever figure this out im having same issue with my 84

If it has stalling problems as well take a look at the pickup coil above distributor
