Angry Completely boggled...

I have a 94 4cyl 2.3L ranger. After I let it sit for a while it will start and run rough on idle. If I give it any gas it boggs down and dies. Also after it idles for a while (1 to 2 mins) it dies as well. After it dies it wont start again unless i let it sit (24 hrs.)
I have replaced the crankshaft position sensor, Ignition control module, front (drivers side) coil pack, plug wires, and plugs. Not getting any spark to the new coil pack. ICM seems to have good ground (bottom left bolt is good) and good power feed (11.65 v)
When i tried to use a jumper wire to get OBD codes I get nothing but a steady check engine light. Ive done the jumper method before and it worked fine. I'm working on getting an OBD1 reader but currently dont have one.
Has my ECU gone bad? Am I missing something.

Pulling my hair out.

Have you checked your IAC? It might be due for a cleaning. Same with the MAP, MAF, Throttle Body. Start with the simple and cheap.

I forgot to mention, fuel pump is new and gets power. New fuel filter, new fuel pump relay.

MAF is new as well. Could the IAC cause it to not start? I blasted it with cleaner a while back and didn't seem to make a difference. I'll double check it.

I've been having this problem for quite a while and cant even remember everything I've tried. Ill start at square one I guess.

The IAC might not prevent it from running. Cleaning mine made it clean, but I couldn't detect a difference.Attachment 66288Attachment 66289

But cleaning the MAF (After)image-2654818401.jpg

And the MAPimage-2745613634.jpgimage-3240364096.jpg

Gained me about 2 MPG and 5-10 HP. Every little bit helps and it won't even cost you $20. It's a bargain, I think and it won't hurt.
