Question Aftermarket Tach Help??

Hey guys, I'm looking to install an aftermarket tach on my truck so I can watch my rpms. It's not going to be anything fancy, just a normal independent tach gauge. Now, my problem is is that I'm not quite sure how to install one being that my truck has dual coil packs instead of a distributor. Has anyone done this? I've looked around and haven't been able to find anything on it. Any advice or information I might need to know will be greatly appreciated!!

Best thing to do is get a tach cluster. Its PnP and will give you the tach without looking like rice.

I've thought about that, but would it make a difference being a 93? I'm not sure what years will cross with a 93. I've seen them cross with a 95+

Ok, I wasn't sure about that because in 95 is when they changed the style of the interior, but now I know. I appreciate the help man
