recently my heater hose was so corroded it just broke off...now it just leaks every where and we cant find the part anywhere..what can i do? its an 1986 with a 2.3l no a/c

ok i have a 1986 ford ranger with a 2.3l 5 speed and today one of the hoses broke off..it was holding coolant and doesnt leak unless its running or i take the radiator cap off..i dont know what the art is called...it runs from the bottom of the head. please help me i need to get this fixed...its my only transportation!!!

sounds like it is the thermastat housing, they do rust out.... hit the pick and pull and get one, the cast iron ones from the parts store do not hod the themasta properly and will case more issues

one from ANY 2.3 will work, from a car or truck... there are some differances but not much, mainly the length and bend of the heater hose tube

If its just the hose and not the actual metal piece it attaches to, you just need to go to any auto parts store and ask for a lower radiator hose.
