Default Stock Air Intake Tube Difference

I was wondering how much bigger the 4.0 air intake tube VS the 2.3 tube, cause i want to add a filter element and heat shield that would fit a 4.0 .

Why not spend a little more and get the full k&n kit that's made for your truck?

It gets too dirty, I've already tried that route, at least this way it will keep it a little separated form the rest of the engine.
