Default 94' 2.3L in place of a 95' 2.3?

Hey guys, tried a search, didn't find an exact answer.
I have a shot at getting a running, rebuildable 2.3L out of a 94' B2300. The guy wants $75. Would this work for my 95' ranger? The intake manifold looks different than mine, but maybe I can rebuild and use the longblock?
my engine still runs strong, has good oil pressure but I want to have an engine rebuilt and ready when it's time.
thanks!
-Marc

it is the same engine, however, unless your 94 is a CA truck then it is obd-1. the 95 is OBD-2. the 95 has the oil pump where the aux gear(timing belt) is on the 94......The 95 has a cam sensor behind the oilpump........I am not sure where the oilpump is on the 94 or how you go about resolving this issue....you probably will end up swapping the 95 intake over......
