^^ what he said. The IAC is just a valve, so you can q-tip it and clean the snot out of it, and alot accumulates in there before it starts causing problems. No lube needed, just a good cleaning.

I cleaned the IAC and it didn't really help, I think I may replace it. Autozone has it for $55. After that I'm not sure what to do!

I have/had a similar issue. I just replaced my iacv with a BWD( Borg Warner) from Advance $43. The truck is definitely running and idling much better. I will keep you posted on what happens. I am rebooting the pcm as we speak. My idle and missing issues were somewhat sporadic so I am curious to see what happens.
