Default O2 sensor check engine code

Hello all

Ok so I have a 1990 Ford Ranger 2.3 5 speed. My check engine light is on so I ran the codes and its throwing the code that my o2 sensor is out of range. So I simply replaced the o2 sensor and cleared the codes but after about 10 miles the check engine light turned back on. Ran the codes again and it's still reading o2 sensor. I took it to a shop and the *******es just said replace the o2 sensor even tho I just did. Also- I'm getting about 13 mpg 😞.

Any suggestions?

Okay so here's the codes I'm throwing-

KOEO- No EGE position signal; RPM low

KOER- Cooling temp sensor out of specified range or ECT out of range

HEGO HO2S sensor voltage high/ system rich

No EGE position signal; RPM low

Operator error during dynamic response test/ wide open throttle not sensed

Power steering pressure switch open

Any help would be appreciated

If the RPM is low then cleaning the IAC might help and could it be another bad o2 sensor? I think rangers have 3.

Yep only 1

1990 Ford Ranger
2.3L

Single exhaust

Just tracked the entire exhaust pipe from manifold down to tail pipe. Only 1 O2 sensor.

While I try to guess what that last word is I'm going with the fact maybe ones missing! I have a 96 2.3 stock exhaust and I have more than 1
