yes just like my blown head gasket was only origionally due to a hose that got a hole in it so it over heated and it blew

well the spark plugs wires are on fine , my spark plugs are bad and im almost positive now that the sound is coming from or near the compressor , one this im uncertain about it , i kept the engine on for 6 or 7 minutes and it was running rough and i heard popping sounds from engine and i believe the tailpipe aswell , i didnt lose power but it seemed like as soon as i took my foot of the gas it would stall and turn off quickly unless thats a mixture to my plugs being bad and vacuum leak , but im curious about the popping sound

it was still popping after you replaced the plugs? did you ever check the timing? i know its not adjustable but the oil pump/cam sensor may not have been put back in time when he put the timing belt off. and i know ive been harping on this but have you put freon back in it?

First of all i havent replaced my old plugs yet because i want to make sure the oil leak problem is fixed now that i put in the new valve seal , no i still havent checked the timing or recharged the compressor , so far i can get it started but it wont idle on its own or it will shut off and like i said popping not as bad as like backfiring no were near as loud but like i said i hear it in the engine and tailpipe

I noticed the idiot guy who did the work forgot to plug some stuff back in , there is one item that is right near the battery that i recall is usta go in there but im not positive and if so do you know were it goes , this is the location of the part and its like a hard rubberish cord that i believe went to it

i found the hose they disconnected but i dont know were exactly on the other side it goes , if that is a vacuum line i wonder if that has something to do with my problems , cause like i said it the engine will turn off as soon as my foot is off the gas , i just hope between that , the spark plugs and the compressor is the cause for my problems , i just hope its nothing to involved

Ok well i think i found out whats wrong but i wanted a second opinion , i went to change my plugs today and i changed the ones on the passenger side and then when i went to replace the ones on the drivers side and found that the silicon got on some of the plugs and also it got onto the overall opening were the plug goes in , so thats probably why there was so much smoke also i looked at the fuel rale or atleast i think thats what its called the chromish looking rod near the throttle anways i looked at the rail and see there suposed to be a hose or something that plugs into it well theres nothing on it so its just open , so i could be wrong but doesnt that sound like that could be my problem and now what do i need to do as far as cleaning the silicon out , do i need to take my head back off or can i just clean the area

yeah you can clean the area with the head on but be careful not to get any silicone into the cylinder, if you get a few shavings in there its not that big of a deal but try not to get any in there, try to get as much out with the plugs still in as you can then get the rest out. as far as the fuel rail is the spot where you think a hose is supposed to be vertical and does it have threads on it?

on the actual fuel rail it i believe is threaded , im wondering i have a long hard plastic hose that has a little bend on it , i didnt know if that goes for that , does those things that im meantioning probably would cause a big problem like running bad

i forgot to ask if it was on the front of the rail but if it has threads on it i believe it is and that is the purge valve and it does not have a hose coming from it, its only to get air out of the system. you could try to purge the system but all the air should be out by now with as much as its been run, but it wouldnt hurt just turn the key on to get the fuel pump running and get a small screwdriver and press on the little needle inside that fitting and have some goggles on and be prepared to clean up a little gas under the hood but it wont be that much just dont let it hit you in the face because it comes out pretty hard, but i dont think that is your problem, i think you might have just a few small problems like the plugs being fouled, silicone on the plugs, maybe air in the fuel rail, and a vacuum leak somewhere

mine doesnt look like that right there, mine has the high pressure port for the a/c right there so i dont know what that is on yours but it does look like it could be for a vacuum line and you can definatly tell that something was there until recently because its clean, as far as the fuel rail i think that a 94 has a return line (my 2000 does not). does it look like some gas has came out of the hole?
