2001 2.3 standard ranger

3 hoses run and meet at a T right above the starter.
I can track 2 of them. 1 to the engine, 1 to the heater core (i believe) no good at coolant systems.. Had a engine replacement last year T blew apart. Replaced it and now it leaks from around the hoses. I have tried cutting them back and putting them back on the T. I am to the point where i just need new hoses. Ford dealer wont tell me info without paying $99 and wanting to drop the tranny to change. Have taken my truck around to several shops. None can tell me what these hoses are called.

Anyone have any ideas?

Truck leaks maybe a cup of water a day. Tired of filling it up.

i know exactly what you are talking about & there is an excellent thread on here from a couple months ago...

believe me, it's here somewhere... they guy even mentioned taking the exhaust manifold off made it easier than dropping the tranny... i am POSITIVE it's here somewhere...

i believe that could be it! appreciate your help. taking off exhaust manifold will be a lot easier than dropping the tranny. don't understand why mechanics look so puzzled over this
