Default Losing Electrical Power.

Ok so I have a 1993 2.3L. I have replaced the battery, Starter, The belt, and the alternator. I replaced the alternator because after I replaced the belt a squealing noise was still occurring. Sounded like the alternator so I changed it, I was also losing electric power when pressing the accelerator and it started squealing. So I know it could be the connections which I already cleaned the battery ones and should have cleaned the starter connection and alternator connections when replacing them but I didn't. But would that still explain why im losing power every time its squeals?

Could be a weak belt tensioner.

A belt slip will cause the alt to produce less voltage.
Does the truck die, lights get dim,or are you seeing a drop on the volt guage.

I notice a drop on the volt gauge. And the truck sounds like its about to die. Its happened once since I put the new Alternator in. but the squealing still occurs. The tension pulley is bad btw. Its supposed to be a spring one and go back by itself but I had to pull it back to tighten up the belt again. But before I put the new alternator in it would show a drop on the volt gauge sometimes as well when reving the truck up.

Replace the tensioner.

A properly working tensioner will increase tension as the engine rmp increases and loosens when it decreases.
