Might be wise to get some penetrating oil on them and let it sit for a while.

His 91 coil packs should be at the front passenger side of the head if I am not mistaken. As long as he has the same layout as my 94.

They are an easy remove on mine.

on the 95+ tachs there is an adjustment on the back side of it, maybe see if you have one and turn it

well pulled off coil pack on the intake side, used a ohm meter on it and get no readings plug to plug , the 3 pins get one reading of 1.2 and the other open so i am guessing big time here that it is bad. my ranger is a 89, it has 2 coil packs and 8 spark plugs, 4 cylinders,,, well will let yall know how it goes.
