I've been at it since my last post.
Yes, I have plenty of spark.
Timing seems to be OK.
What I don't have is compression: Cyl 1-4::60 53 30 125. Yipes!!!
Will dump some motor oil in sequence next (tomorrow AM) and see if I get compression so I can get a sense of whether it's pistons or valves/head gasket.
Looks like I'm going to get very familiar with this great little engine before I'm done.
I was putting off tackling the power steering pump (its getting moist w/ ps fluid) but it looks like it will be included with the head or engine work.
If the head is warped is it better to get it trued up w/ new guides/valves as necessary or to get another head?
Other thoughts?
