I had 374,000 on my 96 2.3 with manual trans. Motor never rebuilt. My 97 has 149,472 miles on it's 2.3 now no problems never rebuilt and has an auto trans.

I still find it funny how many people with 2.3s post their mileage in the "how many miles on your 2.5?" thread.
Btw, My '98 2.5 just had it's 125K oil change.
And My '05 2.3 sits at just over 115K.

Mine,s got 186,297 as of today, I average about 500 miles a week on my daily drivers.

As of today i have 216,653 on the 1993 2.5 splash !! And unforuntely today it started having trouble starting making a single "tink" sound and thats its. I wiglled the wires after a few minutes of sitting and it started fine. But this hasnt been the first time it has done it.

My old '00 had 189,000 on the original top end. Bottom end had been rebuilt though.

My uncles odometer stopped working at 316,***. Then he drove it for another 3 years, guessing its around 380,*** and still running strong

Hit 190,000 on the haome from work Friday. Starter and timing belt are the only major items since I got it at 154,000 mi. Loosing about 1/2 gt. oil every 4,000 miles or so has me concerned. Concerned about the auto trans as the fluid looked pretty nasty when I got it.

mine has 1668xx on it as of today and really the only major things done to it are altenator starter ball joints and other prevenative maintenance stuff.. still running like new...
