Now it won't start!
So I bought my first Ranger as a commuter ride to work. It is a '93 2.3l 5 speed. I had to put a radiator and thermostat in it. It ran fine the 6-7 times I drove it this weekend, but this morning when it was time to leave for work it wouldn't start. It would crank but it acted like there was no spark. There was a lot of dew out this morning. Would that have affected an aging part under the hood?

I doubt dew would have anything to do with it. My guess would be fuel pump. In my 93 4.0 I can hear my pump prime when I turn the key to on. Is yours priming?

It was priming. I turned the key and it ran for a second.

If you are thinking fuel pump. Could it be a clogged fuel filter?

Filter, lines, injectors. Something a long the lines.
You know for sure you're getting spark?

Spark was weak so I took the ignition control module and it tested. It tested good. I am bound to have a loose or weak connection somewhere. I did get a fuel pressure gauge so that I can confirm the pressure. It should be 30-40psi, correct?

That I have no idea what it should be at. If you're getting weak spark then I would start there.

Where i live i have seen many people drive to the ocean and find that their car would not start the next day. Their wires or cap where old and the ocean air did them in.
