Exclamation installing AC into a 98 XLT ranger?

I really want to install AC into my ranger. You cant really take a girl on a date inside a tiny pickup with no AC in 100 degree weather. and we all know they dont like having to roll the windows all the way down. I also would enjoy not roasting my ass off. Ive been researching it and found this:

and that looks helpful, are there ANY parts missing from that list that I would need? and also, If I purchased my parts from a Junkyard, how much would it cost to do this? Could this be installed in a day? My dad is a mechanic and could help me ALOT. Im kind of stuck with this truck so if it wouldnt cost that much it would definitely be worth it

I had a my mechanic install just a new compressor in my 98 XLT and it cost me $650! Now I have cold air but I also have alot less torque when it is on. Merging onto highway traffic I fell like I'm driving a turtle. My advice buy car with AC.
Goodluck

Find a REALLY SKINNY girl. they don`t sweat as much as the fat ones do. Just kidding. Your best bet would be to find a donor truck with everything you need.

It can be done!! I have a 96 xlt no factory ac. I went to a local salvage yard and found a donor truck. Took all the ac components out they charged me $130. I bought a new dryer and had to take the compressor back to the salvage yard for an exchange because the first was doa. The hardest part is the wiring. My truck had the low pressure wires but wrong plug, but was unable to find the high pressure cutoff and the compressor wires. After some wire diagram studying I was able to get it to work. Good luck.
