can you verify this theory? egr valve and knock sensor codes...
So after some extensive searching I found a good used egr valve, a good egr sensor, the tube, the plug for the manifold, and a couple of codes... i havent installed it yet but during the KOER scan I got a 31-34-13-25. That breaks down to the egr valve not responding(duh), egr control not responding(because its not hooked up yet), idle too low, and knock not sensed during dynamic running test. I read up on some symptoms of these codes and the egr can cause detonation, the knock sensor can be fooled by detonation, and the idle can't be right if its supposed to have exhaust mixed when the valve is supposed to be open(and its not there)... can anyone verify this theory?

86 ranger 4x4 2.3l efi gas non turbo 5 speed. Small lift. 2.25 in exh w/turbo muffler, no cat or egr. New cam, lifters, rocker arms (stock grind). New fuel pump in tank.
