Default 95 2.5 running rough when cold

Ok im ASE certified and I cant find the problem ...when the motor warms up it runs fine but when u start it while cold it mis- fires.. Im lost please help

Nope tried.it to ... I took the coil off my turbo 2.3 and still did the same thing lol...and this is my wifes grandmothers truck

Happens when cold, the engine could possibly not know it is cold if the sensor doesn't work right.

That would be the engine temp sensor for the ECU. My '95 has two, one for the ECU and one for the gauge

I agree could be ect. Does the issue correlate with open and closed loop?

Maby the map or iac sensor (which ever one it is) the one in the side of the intake near the fire wall. The one on my '99 would get carbon clogged in it and make surge on cold start up. And run ruff at stoplights
