How much bigger do you think you can make it to actually accomplish something.

That all depends on how much of a difference it will make. I have read people puting on the tcoup throttle body but having to mod the tps. I was looking to increase the size of the throttle body to increase the air volume that is coming in.

What makes you think the engine will just all of a sudden need more air?? You can put a 24" storm drain pipe on the intake. You still have a 2.3 that isn't going to make use of it. You're wasting a lot of money.

If you're truck is new enough to have OBD2, a tuner such as the SCT XCAL would be a great start. Modifying one part of the intake, especially the outside of the engine, is useless unless you modify the inside of the engine too.

Best bet is to drive a 2.3 for gas mileage like its intended. If you want power by a 4.0 or a full size.
