Default Engine Questions

Hi , im new to driving stick shift and today i tried driving and probably released the clutch to fast and it jurked and then stalled out well this happened 2 or 3 times and after i tried to turn the engine back on and wont come back on , well the same thing happened yesterday as far as the engine shut off and the next day which is today i got the engine running , is this normal or an issue with the vehicle

Thanks

Better go learn to drive a tractor with gearshift before you mess up your clutch and transmission.

Well since we have no idea the make/model/year/engine/trans/anything about your truck, nobody is going be able to tell you much.

That used to happen with my '99, mostly when it was cold... just practice letting that clutch out and you'll never have to worry about it. I recommend going on the slow side 'cause then if the truck isn't moving/sounding right you can give it more gas rather than letting it out on the fast side then it'll just die on you. Good luck....

well i did drive it again today , and it was cold out so it took a few minutes for it to stay on but once it stayed on it was fine and i noticed after the engine wouldnt come back on i pushed the gas pedal to the floor and that worked to get it to turn back on , is that normal or a problem

No you have some major issues to deal with. None of that is normal. I would suggest starting with a conventional tune-up and see what it fixes.

Theres about a million things all those symptoms could add up to. Doing all the tune up stuff first will help narrow it down. Although I can assure you changing the oil won't fix it. It won't hurt obviously but it isn't going fix it.
