my brother and some of his friends believe that the 90s ranger engines were produced by Mazda. I was wondering if this was true

The ranger/bseries are co-developed by Mazda and Ford, but the rangers in the US were built here. The "Lima" engine was built in...surprise, Lima, Ohio!
