Question '97 Ranger Overheating Problems possible missing hose???

Hey guys im new to this forum, but i am sure i can find the answer to my question. My cab of my '97 xlt had been smelling of radiator coolant for like three four days, and then after that i noticed the coolant leaking under my car (a huge puddle) everytime after i ran my truck. It looks like it is leaking from the back of the engine bay by the firewall. Plus it is not sucking coolant from the resevoir. http://flic.kr/p/bpLgKH <--- Maybe missing hose??

Thank you guys for thaking the time to look at this. Anything will help!

It could be the freeze plug in the rear of the head, or some have a metal pipe back there that connects to the heater hose.
