Default Way to test for weak coil?

93 8 plug 2.3 -

I suspect one or both coils may be weak and having a hard time
firing adequate spark under sustained load.

Runs fine until I get up into 5th gear, esp pulling up a grade.

Sounds like that's an intermittent / occasional miss.

Any way to test their voltage output, or condition of the
wire coils inside, or whatever? Like resistance, etc?

Thanks

This might help if you have a multimeter
