I was in the middle of trying to do the double spark mod and noticed that the secondary exhaust sparking coil did not give off any spark. I tested this by C-clamping a spark plug to the engine pulling ring, or whatever its called, and then I turned the engine over. I tested off of the ignition coil and that one works fine.

Where should I start trouble shooting? What are the ohms I can check for? Is there something typical that has been prone to go bad that I should look for?

Brand new wires and plugs if it matters. Engine runs perfect off of the ignition side.

Upon further testing I found out that the emissions coil doesnt fire until the main ignition coil keeps the engine running. I had tried to see if I could do the double spark mod. BUT to make sure I did it right I wanted to see if I could get the engine to run on just the emissions coil. It wont spark unless then engine is running. So I thought it was broken.
