Default 93 Ranger -- No heat

I have no heat in my truck. Replaced radiator, thermostat, water pump, coolant. The car will not heat up. The guage barely reads warm. Heat into vehicle slightly warm. Any suggestions?

See the NO HEAT TROUBLESHOOTING link in my signature and report back. Given what you just said, I would lean towards the thermostat is still stuck open, or the coolant is too low.

I put one in. -- No heat. Replaced it -- still not heating. Is that a common problem? Could there be two broken t-stats in a row?

You did not put your location down..forget what the gauge say for a minute. Have you felt the upper rad hose to see that it is hot?....these engine do run cool. Putting some cardboard in front of the radiator helps a little. what brand and temperature t-stat did you use. the recommended one is the motor craft 190-195. some people have had luck with the Stant.......if you have anything else take it out. and if you don't have one that is a minimum of 190 take it out....I assume you replaced the rad Cap?

Please run through the troubleshooting list rather than just focusing on one device.

That won't be a factor. Our engines will warm up to operating temperature as long as there is a working thermostat regardless of ambient temperature. I've been down in the negative teens and it still warms up and stays warm fine as long as everything is working properly.

Actually don't. That "solution" makes no sense and will not do anything to correct anything at all.

That is not an air bubble. That is your coolant being too low. Which proper re-filling prevents and proper normal topping off procedures would rectify. Neither procedure requires disconnecting hoses, spilling coolant, or other strange procedures. It is definitely not "the solution" like you said in the other thread.
