Default what other manifold or headers could fit a 1996 2.3l?

Like I said when I introduced myself lately, I'm using the drivetrain of a 1996 2.3l 4X2 Ranger to make a swap in a 1982 BR100 Bombardier a tracked vehicle. The engine and tranny are almost in place but I have a problem with connecting the exhaust line (see photo) I desperately need to know if another header or manifold that has another configuration would fit on this engine and make it possible to connect the exhaust line that has to go straight up just beside the engine. I tought maybe one from a front wheel drive could fit and won't head down like mine or maybe I would be able to put it upside down or maybe I could use a manifold or headers from the left side of a V8 that could fit. I found a header for a 2.3 turbo that goes straight out (perpendicular to the engine) but It will cost $400 and it has a square output that won't be easy to adapt.
Any help appreciated.

I'll reformulate my question.
Is are shorty headres available for a 1996 2.3L? Or a manifold or headers with a different configuration that will fit? I'm cancelling the EGR port by the way.

Esslingers make a dune buggy header but costly. You probably could take a stock tube manifold and cut the pipes off and get a front wheel drive header and splice the pipes on upside down. There are a few companies that use the industrial 2.3 in man lifts and such and their exhaust goes up and out but few and far between.

My brother is a retired welder and we touhgt of many configurations but we don't know what is risky to do with a manifold or headers ex. restrictions and overheating risks. These things are very expensive to make cause it takes a lot of time. Since he is retired I don't want to bother him too much with that, I'm already lucky to have him for engine and tranny mount fitting and welding.
We tought of cutting the pipes to send them in a bigger pipe to go out to the muffler but like I said we don't want to take chances without knowing
Thank's for the help

Are they exactly alike in every way or they have the same pattern at the heads and can vary a bit and have a different configuration at the output?
It's a very precious info that your giving me
If they are slightly different but fit at the head, maybe I could Google pix and find something I need.
Thank's

In a 1983 Mercury Marquis Brougham, there was a V8 was'nt it? The manifold of one side or the other can fit?
