Engine turns wont start - no fuel - no spark - pcm not powered!

Hello all, first time poster hope you can help.

I replaced the head gasket, timing belt. Put in new plugs, wires. Ran great for a day, then died as if I had turned it off suddenly. now it'll crank all day but no fire. Determined timing was still correct. Then I checked for spark and fuel and have neither. Checked all fuses both inside truck and under hood - all good. I put the key in run position and CEL light no longer comes on, so concluded PCM was not getting power. I believe I have verified this by checking voltage at the TPS with key in run position. I have swapped the fuel and PCM relays to check PCM relay. No help there.
I'm a bit brain drained at this point and am hoping for some help.

do your headlights work?

do your other dashlights work?

are you positive the ECU fuse is good?

did you remove any ground wires when doing the work?

Your ignition and fuel pump might be shot. Can you hear your fuel pump come on when you have it in the run posistion?

When you turn the key to on, do those relays click? I bet they're not. I think you're going to find one electrical disconnect somewhere. Either a ground has come off or a fuse is blown that you missed.

Fuses 5, 13, & 19 in the cab. A number of fuses under the hood also. If you determined they are blow just by looking at them, I would start switching them instead.

The coil pack and the fuel pump both mysteriously died at exactly the same time? Probably not.

Maybe because he did say he wasn't getting neither fuel nor spark. I'd say you're most likely right about the electrical connection. It could very well be a blown fuse under the hood. The reason I mentioned the coil pack is because it's a 1999 ranger and alot of people tend to forget about the ignition coil pack and they do go bad over time.

It's a '96. But I don't see what the year of manufacture has to do with anything.

I was thinking about the wear and tear factor really. I thought it was a 99 model. It could be a bad connection concerning the coil pack. That's why I hate chasing electrical gremlins. In fact I got one myself right now. The interior light comes on when I push the brake pedal and I don't have a clue as to what's causing it either.

Ok first off thank you all for your input, i'm very grateful.
Following your suggestions, I double checked everything and found the #19 fuse in the cab had popped. I would have sworn it wasn't before but it must have been, since replacing it has solved my starting issue.
now as to why it popped I'm guessing that moving that 15 year old wiring harness around all weekend wasn't the best for it. Hopefully I wont have any more problems with it and have to chase down a short later on.

No problem. One of the sensors wires probably grounded or something pissed it off. It did its job so you should be fine.
