please help! flashing check engine light
Hello everyone I have a 2003 4 cylinder that has been giving me problem after problem. My latest issue is a flashing check engine light and really rough running motor. When ever it is stopped at a light or just in park the problem gets worse and then it eventually dies. I replaced the spark plugs and wires and the air and fuel filters. I am going to clean my mass flow air sensor today but just had it replaced about a month ago. If anyone has any suggestions as to why I'm having these problems I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Have a shop scan your check engine codes.
It's OBD-II so any shop or auto store out there should be able to scan it for you. Just write down the code that the scanner comes up with (it will look like: P00134 or something like that)

the check engine is flashing because you have a serious misfire condition...not too many people know that

yes cuz by now ur in deep shit and u destroyed something. the check engine light never flashes unless something is already broke to the point of no return i learned that on my old car. its flashing to tell u to stop driving me i'm broken lol.
