i have been wondering about this for a while. when should i change out my diff oil, my truck has 59000 miles on it and i have never bothered to look at it

change it! Yea i think 30,000 is a reasonable interval. I like changing it about every 2 years which is about the same. Sooner if you do a lot of towing...
