WOW. Brand new and you had to pay for a rental??? That would be the day. I'd leave the dang thing at the dealer, call FORD CORP tell them the story. When you do that, FORD jumps all over the dealer and things start happening.

Bring it in to Ford and demand them to fix it right or replace it.

Call your local Ford Rep for your state and mention the troubles your having with this dealer.

If they are an independent dealer, check your local lemon law rules for your state. I believe you legally have 30 days to return to Ford and up to 60 days for Lemon Law enforcement!

My independent Ford dealer uses the ford reward card. After I ran my issue up the chain, I received a call next day with appointment and had a rental waiting and I found i had 1000 points/rewards on my Ford rewards Card.
