Default 88 2.3 Oil leak/blue cloud

Hey Everyone

I have an 88 Ranger with the 2.3.

When I start it I have a blue cloud for just a few seconds and then it goes away. My grandad says it is the valve guide oil seals. He had a car with the same engine.

Is there anything else it could be?
Has anyone replaced them in a ranger?

Last question, I have a small oil leak from the front of the engine.
Any ideas on what to check?

Its could be your valve seals.
Little oil in the exhaust means a lot of oil which could result in blue-ish smoke...

Havent done mine yet ( dont plan on it either )....

With the oil leak check the Oil Pan area, Timing Cover area, Valve Cover area.... Are some that I woul look around in...

Good luck ....
