Default 2.5 oil pan ??

got a 2.5 from a 98 or 99 ranger just wondering if it wil fit in my 2wd 95 ranger.looks a little differnt than mine

It should work, most parts on the 4 cylinders are interchangeable, the only difference between the 2.3 engine and 2.5 engine is the cylinder bore. I've got an 88 ford ranger that i converted to fuel injected, it now has the 2.5L engine in it. It fit just fine.

95 oil pan Ford part number #F57Z6675FA
98 oil pan Ford part number #F87Z6675EA

The 95 is more on the price as well.

They cylinder bores are the same, the stroke is longer on the 2.5L and on a side not the 2.5L has a better flowing head than any 2.0L OHC or 2.3L OHC.
