Question How hard to do turbo setup?

Has anybody added in a turbo setup?
What all is needed, and how difficult is it to do?

I am fairly well versed in mechanics, my Achilles is electrical... so I would think that nuts and bolts swap/add on's would be fairly easy.

Besides the turbo and turbo manifold, What else would I need?
I am hoping to be able to do this project this summer...

Thanks in advance

Find you a 80's tunderbird that had the 2.3 turbo. That would be your best setup with out spending a fortune on parts to upgrade yours.

Forged pistons, total seal rings, and maybe a turbo cam. Yeah a better turbo than the factory turbo on the turbo coupes is almost needed.

----------

I'm actually looking at doing the same thing on my truck over this summer as well.

----------

Oh yeah 32lb injectors, a cobra mustang fuel pump and ford lighting throttle body and MAF.

If you're not looking to boost too much, you can have a turbo with stock internals. Typically it's no more than 7 pounds. If you wanna push more you'd have to build your valvetrain and pistons.
