:::Can I Use Full Thread Spark Plugs Instead Of Half Thread?
I have a 2001 Ranger, with the 2.5 Lima engine. I am going to do my second tuneup (first one was done at 80k). Seems that I can't get a handle on the original equipment plugs, which are half thread plugs.
Can I use full thread plugs, instead of the original half thread? If so, are there any issues I need to be aware of? I won't be using a torque wrench; I usually can "feel" when a plug is fully in, and firmly seated - so If I use the full thread plugs, how will I know that they are firmly seated - so I don't over tighten them?
Anyone use NGK, or Bosch plugs? I'd like to give them a try (I have been using Autolite...)
